Energy and Carbon Management

Energy and carbon management is becoming a critical sector with increased energy consumption and its impact on the environment. Taru has been working on various initiatives integrating energy and carbon for an improved environment. Some of the recent projects include Odisha Power Resilience Project, Climate-resilient and Low-carbon Growth in Ahmedabad Project, amongst others.  

In the present world, there is a need to decarbonise global energy and reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by shifting to low carbon or zero-carbon energy resource. As the global concern on climate change is increasing, the assessment of energy and carbon management should be considered in a consistent manner. Adoption of clean and renewable energy sources as an alternative to promote low carbon or zero carbon emission is required to meet the sustainable goals. Taru has been addressing this by working with a range of government, clients, donors, private sector, and stakeholders.
